Virtual Hackathon Winners - Spring 2026! šŸŽ‰

I’m excited to announce that Surohita Snigdha Satrasala (@surohitasnigdha) is the Prophecy hackathon winner! :1st_place_medal: Watch the demo of her Refund Review project below:

Refund Review is an explainable and configurable decision intelligence platform that automates refund operations using behavioral analytics, statistical anomaly detection, customer segmentation, and hybrid risk scoring. The system transforms raw transaction and refund data into trust signals, risk profiles, and behavioral patterns to generate real-time refund decisions such as auto-approve, escalate, or manual review.

Iftikar Alam (@Iftikar_Alam) took second place with his Global Retail Analytics project! :2nd_place_medal: This project provides a comprehensive analytics solution for a global retail organization to optimize store locations, improve operational efficiency, and understand customer demand patterns. It transforms raw sales, customer, product, and store data into actionable insights through three interconnected dashboards: customer demand insights, operations performance, and store location strategy.

And in third place, we have Huzaifa Shaik (@Shaik_Mohd_Huzaifa) with a Trade Reconciliation Pipeline project! :3rd_place_medal: Back-office teams at asset management firms manually reconcile thousands of trades daily across custodian files and internal fund accounting systems — a process that takes hours, is error-prone, and buries analysts in spreadsheets and emails. This pipeline solves that pain point.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our first hackathon! If you enjoyed watching one of the submissions above, let them know in the comments
