Upload your first flat file in Prophecy

Follow these steps to upload a flat file into Prophecy:

Method 1: Upload your file via the AI agent chat

  1. From the Professional Edition home page, click on the “Attach Data” button to attach a data file. The recommended maximum file size is 100MB, and you can upload the following file formats:

  2. Once attached, ask AI any question about your data, or select a common task prompt. Click “Get Started,” and it will start building your pipeline.

Method 2: Upload your file to an existing pipeline

  1. If you already have a pipeline, drag and drop your flat file onto the canvas.

  2. Verify the database, schema, and table name. You can change any property with a dropdown selection, and you can type in the schema or table boxes to create new names.

  3. Click “next” and review the properties and make any adjustments needed.

  4. Click “done” to finish uploading the file.
