Meaning of P4A and P4B

What’s the meaning of P4A, P4B, and PY4B? Are they all referring to the newer prophecy product?

Hi! They’re all basically the same. Analysts and Business are interchangeable words here.

P4A = prophecy for analysts. This includes both:

  • P4B (Prophecy for Business) - by default SQL

  • PY4B (Prophecy for Business - PySpark)

So P4A/P4B often refers to the same thing. We use PY4B to make a distinction that it is the specific PySpark flavor of P4A/P4B.
